Centre High
provides an atmosphere of support, security, cooperation, maturity,
friendliness, and renewal. As the stepping stone to further
education and to the world of work, Centre High operates in a
business-like manner with a strong code of conduct and high
standards. The same standards that would be expected of young
people at work with regard to attendance, punctuality, cooperation,
dress and behavior apply at Centre High. Students are challenged
to prepare for the future with a sense of rigour and maturity.

For years, school-based outreach programs focused almost
exclusively on helping at-risk students get back on track. While
many outreach programs continue to focus on at-risk students,
Edmonton Public Schools is pioneering a new approach that is
redefining what these programs can include.
THE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE
Centre High's Learning Resource Centre is
integral with regard to the kind of education that is offered on
campus. From periodicals to reference books to high speed internet,
the LRC provides the neccesary resources for students to not only
achieve but to excel in their achievements. With a world of
information at our students' disposal, we cultivate positive
futures for our young people. Centre High's focus on helping
students achieve post-secondary and career success is important
and begins in the study environment.
